Ufone Pakistan: Independence Day celebrations

Independence day was celebrated across the country in different ways and with full enthusiasm. Like previous years, Ufone also celebrated the day. Ufone marked Pakistan’s 70th Independence Day by celebrating the spirit and people of Pakistan. Ufone salutes the spirit of Pakistani citizens on 70th Independence Day.

An event was celebrated on Friday 11th August at Ufone Tower building. In the celebration event Mr. Rainer Rathgeber (ex Ufone’s CEO) gave an inspiring speech.

“Ufone as a brand has always recognized and paid homage to every Pakistani – the common men and women of Pakistan who practice thoughtfulness and consideration for others. Ufone is all about the people of Pakistan – the common, but not ordinary, Pakistanis, and we take pride in celebrating this spirit on this Independence Day.” said Mr. Rathgeber.

It was followed by a cake cutting ceremony. Ufone’s new Independence Day TVC was also screened at the event.

Ufone has also launched an Independence Day campaign. It aims to honour the little things that Pakistanis do, that make lives easier for others. The campaign highlights the everyday acts of kindness and compassion that we all witness around us, and which we identify as being the true character of Pakistani people.
