Chairman Rod Sims said that Samsung recognized that water resistance is an significant consideration for Australian customer choices, but advertising “rejected an educated decision for the customer and offered an unfair competitive benefit to Samsung.

There are two numbers followed by the IP code -one for dust and one for water resistance. However, it does not contain the more corrosive ocean water and applies only to fresh water.
