OnePlus has once again hit the Indian market and grabbed a lot of revenue. OnePlus brand is a top class mobile phone brand and no doubt it is widely trusted across the world. According to the latest iteration of the Mobile Industry Consumer Insight (MICI), a report compiled by CyberMedia Research, OnePlus is the top most brand for mobile phone users of India.

Based on the data collected by the company in September this year, OnePlus has managed to surpass both Apple and Vivo. The details of report disclosed that the phone brand consumers are most likely to suggest to their friends, family, and acquaintances. The report also disclosed that OnePlus has gained the share of market to its Chinese original equipment manufacturing, although there are only a limited set of options when it comes to purchasing a mobile phone of One Plus. If OnePlus has four options, other companies offer 200+ variety.

The survey report also highlighted that:

  • OnePlus is also leading the local industry in regards to general brand satisfaction and ease of repair
  • 96 percent of customers being pleased with the availability of spare parts for the company’s devices
  • Problem resolution speeds form another category in which OnePlus beat its competitors in India, as 90 percent of its customers are satisfied with its after-sales services.
  • Indian consumers see Google as the most innovative company in the country
  • OnePlus’s sister firm OPPO has the highest brand visibility, having its advertising rated as the most memorable across all platforms.
  • The most common smartphone activity in India is social networking
  • 98 percent of smartphone users in the country have a habit of accessing social networks on their handsets
  • Less than a third of the above 98% use their pocket companions for online shopping

OnePlus 5 was launched in summer this year in India and got a very good response from customers. The company’s performance in India is believed to be a large contributor to its overall success. India is believed to be the second largest smartphone market in worldwide ranking but also one of the only major ones which still aren’t showing signs of saturation.
