Nvidia Shield TV is upgrading Android Pie to 8.0 Experience

The Nvidia Shield TV is now being delivered with Software Experience Upgrade 8.0, brought away in 2015 with Android 5.1 Lollipop The update will also be released in 2017 on Shield TV.

The update includes a revised Settings panel and an enhanced configuration for fresh customers. In relation to fresh applications and matches, it also introduces Hulu Live TV to Shield TV. Furthermore, the extension also allows Netflix stereo audio and Prime Video 4K support.

• Enhances the vibrant output variety for linked headsets with USB and Bluetooth.
• SHIELD TV remote application provides bluetooth coupling assistance and enhances connectivity.
• Allow the switch on approved applications to 720p refresh rate. 
• Adds possibility to quickly configure “Disconnect Bluetooth equipment.”
•  Adds possibilities for IR power management to customize features on / off.
• Adds the 2.4-GHz or 5-GHz Wi-Fi connectivity option.
