Available in 3 colour options, the HUAWEI nova 2 series features bold new breakthroughs including an upgraded camera and an advanced audio experience. Smartphone users are demanding increasingly high-quality photography experiences – especially for their selfies. To appeal to young consumers, the HUAWEI nova 2 series is equipped with photography applications for every scenario. Its 20MP front camera, combined with HUAWEI’s 3D facial recognition and optimised beauty 4.0, delivers crisp and clear portraits.

HUAWEI’s high-resolution photography capabilities are based on a range of intelligent algorithms, including a specific portrait algorithm. This takes into account a wide range of face shapes and skin colours, studying the relative position of facial features and skin types as well as textures to deliver more natural and true-to-life portraits.

Additionally, HUAWEI incorporates a number of fun camera features to the front camera. In low-light conditions, the HUAWEI nova 2 series uses LCD screen flash with 11 colour temperatures for different degrees of illumination – making portraits really pop. The front camera is also able to shoot selfies with a bokeh effect, creating the blurred background similar to that generated by wide-aperture professional portraits. With a new 10-level beautification mode and a new gesture shutter for taking pictures, perfect selfies become that much easier.
